Layla's 24th Birthday Weekend!

My 24th birthday weekend was wonderful! It was truly the best birthday ever. I really should be having Austin write this blog because he deserves full credit for the entire weekend but I guess this will suffice. For my birthday we went to his families condo in deer valley. We spent the weekend shopping in park city, hot tubing, playing pool, watching Friends, reading, relaxing, hiking, and eating yummy food. On my birthday we went to Pawits Thai restaurant which is the most amazing thai I have ever had. The owner and head chef Pawit knows the Overman's so he gave me a yummy thai birthday dessert and a little gift--a silk scarf from Thailand. He is so sweet! We then drove to the condo and opened presents and ate cake with his family and a couple of our friends. Austin wasn't supposed to get me a present at all because my new lexus is my birthday present for like the next ten years or so...but he ended up surprising me with a MACBOOK. YAY! I was so excited--he has definitely converted me to mac since we started dating. The best part was he wrapped it in a huge huge box and the wrapping paper didn't fit all the way around it so he wrapped it in several different pieces. He told me initially, when I asked what it was, that it was a pony. Isn't he so funny. Anyway, the weekend was splendid! Austin's 25th birthday is in two weeks and I have to do something fabulous for him--I already have some ideas but I won't post them just in case he gets around to reading these posts. ;)
