Happy Halloween 2007

Halloween was kind of a bore for us this year because Austin had work meetings all day...only in the security industry would you schedule a meeting on a holiday...those guys are work-a-holics. Later that night Austin and I went to Thriller--the dance production---it was AMAZING! I enjoyed it so much---we decided it is going to be a yearly tradition. =) We then went over to his parents to watch scary movies and eat mom Overman's home made chili--because halloween isn't halloween with out some horror films and some chili! =) As a side note...Austin is wearing a lovely arm sling in these pictures because he injured his shoulder pretty bad. We had quite the scare the weekend before halloween actually. I got a call at work from Austin who asks me to get home soon to take him to the hospital (this is someone who doesn't even believe in medicine nonetheless doctors). So I hurried home in somewhat of a frantic and took him to the hospital. In a freak accident (let's just say airsoft guns and cement don't mix) he hit his head, blacked out and hurt his shoulder. He ended up having a separated shoulder, broken collarbone and a bad concussion. For just about a week he moaned in his sleep from the pain--talk about sad---I tried my best to be a good wifey and get him medicine and icepacks and try not to accidentally roll over on his hurt shoulder (although I wasn't perfect at that). Anyway he is healing nicely now and hopefully there are no future side affects from this incident. I guess I may have to get used to "freak accidents" since I married someone so reckless and crazy! But I do love his adventurous side!
