austin's parents and sister, jennica, are visiting.
i took jen to the museum of natural history because for YEARS she has been
wanting to go to the dino museum @ thanksgiving point and her parents never took her. =)
she got to see even better dino bones at the museum today.
anyway, the underwater exhibit reminded me of our dives in maui.
while we were in maui it was whale season and during the dives we could hear, very clearly,
the songs of the male whales.

At one point the singing was so loud that it felt like bass bumping in our ears.
our scuba guide actually left us to go find the whale because he was sure one was close.
he didn't come across any whales that day but he told us that numerous times during whale season he has come upon whales while diving. how cool is that? listening to the whales sing is one of my fondest memories of maui.
it was beautiful.
