MAUI day 3

Maui day 3 highlights:

After another BIG breakfast and another trip to Ululani's for shaved ice we spent the entire day lounging at the pool/beach, enjoying the hawaiian sunshine. 

We slathered ourselves with "maui babe" and took naps, read and ate junk food.

We spent some time snorkeling and came upon a couple of HuGe sea turtles. One of them was SO friendly, he kept following us around. 

The turtle even let us "ride" him. Austin rode him for a long ways--I learned something new--turtle's are quite fast!  I had the BEST picture of austin holding some seaweed up to his face and the turtle eating it--their noses barely touching but when I took the picture all I heard was that "click" indicating the film was out. BOO. It would have been an amazing picture..oh well. I made sure to take a picture with my fingers for my memory photo album.

We later learned that you aren't supposed to touch turtles because it can spread disease to the turtle--but our diving instructor told us it only happens IF you touch a diseased turtle and THEN directly after touch another turtle--after hearing that we didn't feel too bad. Austin and I agreed snorkeling with turtles was one of our all-time most favorite experiences.

We sure look good with goggle lines.

When the sun finally set we went back to our hotel to read and order in.
