Monday= spooning & painting for FHE!

On monday for FHE/date night we went to "Color Me Mine" with a couple of our married friends. Have you ever heard of Color Me Mine? I had heard of it and knew it was some sort of crafty place and have been wanting to go and one of our friends has been wanting to go so we tried it out. We had no idea what to expect but we grabbed some pizzas and drinks and we went to "paint". We got there about an and a half before they closed and it took us over an hour to pick what we wanted to paint and pick the designs and colors, etc. so we had less than half an hour to paint. So I won't be posting any pictures of our creations because they are not done yet--we are going to go back next monday to finish. Austin picked a mug and he is going to paint it in a sort of "Ski" theme (go figure) and I chose a milk jug to paint. Austin got all three layers of his yellow paint before closing time and I only got one layer of red paint on mine (this was after cutting out tons of circles on sticky paper to create polka dots and then just deciding to walk to the store next door and buy circle stickers to use instead). I am way excited to go back but I think I am more excited to see what Austin comes up with on his mug then I am to finish my project (I am pretty artistic but I never thought I would see Austin paint anything other than our walls). After Color Me Mine we went to...can you guess?....Spoon me. Geez, you would think we would be sick of that place but while we were there Austin made a bold statement and said if he could choose he would have sushi for dinner every night and Spoon Me for dessert! I think he must like it a lot! =)

I never thought I would see Austin use a blowdryer especially not to blow dry a craft he is making!

I have never tried sushi - it scares me.
Is Autin eating his spoon? If so, how did it taste?
Those snowmobiling pic are pretty sweet and I can't believe how much he looks like Scott! It's crazy!
