Seaworld + Mel's birthday.

We asked Melanie where she wanted to go for her 25th birthday---anywhere in the world---good thing she picked Seaworld so we only had to travel 45 minutes to make it happen.
This, surprising as it may be, was my first Seaworld experience. Now I'm a true blue Seaworld fan--- lucky for me I have a season pass, so I can attend this fine sea animal kingdom anytime my heart desires.

Fondly holding our season passes.

Watching the "Believe" performance by the killer whales.

Austin tried to "sell" the trainer into letting him do this next trick with a whale. The trainer wasn't into that so much but he was definitely into Austin. I told Austin he should swim with the sharks instead--but he said that wasn't extreme enough for him.  Boo! I really was hoping he'd want to swim with them so I could do it with him--because, of course, I'm too scared to do it alone!

Austin was mesmerized by the penguins. More specifically he was mesmerized by the penguin fights.

Watching the dolphin/bird show---interesting combo but AMAZING show.

The stingrays really didn't like Austin grabbing them. About 4 of them attacked him with water by splashing frantically.  It was way funny and he definitely deserved it.

Wet from the stingray attack.

Leaving Seaworld---we left right as it started to POUR. Melanie sure had some birthday luck going on.

We went to dinner at Landrys- an amazing seafood restaurant right next to our apartments.

Like I said, you never know what you're going to get...

The end of a VERY FUN day.

Happy Birthday Mel. Thanks for letting us celebrate with you!

Wait.. are you going to the Sea World in Orlando? That's not 45 mins from you right? Is there another Sea World??

Miss Tara, Orlando is only 45 minutes from us! It says on google maps that it is an hour and a half away but when we drove there last week it only took 45 minutes! Disneyworld was even closer! It's awesome!!!
