The best of both worlds!

I love, love, love, the big, glamorous city but the ocean is magnificent and beautiful and the beach is where I truly feel at peace. Where else can you enjoy the sand between your toes and the warmth of the brilliant sun all while listening to the waves crash on the shore? I love to get on a bathing suit and a pair of sun glasses and lounge on the beach all day while reading a good book and sipping on an ice cold drink. I love to watch my husband gallop on the beach or play with him in the warm water (unless you are in the pacific ocean than the water isn't much fun because it's bitter cold). Lucky for me, NYC has the best of both worlds! I can enjoy the sights and sounds of the city and then within a half hour I can rest and relax on the beach. I want to stay here forever! This last Sunday (since this is the only day we have together) we packed some food, went to church and then headed to Jone's beach. It was beautiful weather and the company was fabulous. I could honestly live in a beach house with the ocean as my front yard for the rest of my life and be perfectly content and if it wasn't for Austin's mad passion for skiing, that's where we would be. Maybe I can turn his obession for snow skiing into one for water skiing? Anyway, I'll let the pictures from the beach do the rest of the talking...
