Last Sunday we flew into L.A. a day before the cruise so that we could hang out with my sisters cute family. I don't get to see my 3 nieces very often so I was excited to play with Alex (10), Ashlyn (4), and Avery (3). After a very bumpy flight and an even bumpier landing we finally made it to L.A. in the afternoon. (I must have been really tired because I slept through most of the turbulance to my husband's awe, but ended up having a terrible neck ache from my head beating against the side of the plane). I spent the day being entertained by the girls (and playing "mom" by feeding, bathing, and putting the girls to sleep which included laying with them in their beds until they fell asleep), and Austin spent the day watching sports, the X-games and playing Halo with my brother-in-law Bob. All of the pictures from the day are pretty crazy (that is what happens when you give a 3 year old the camera and she won't give up the camera until the battery dies). Little Avery fell in love with Austin and spent most of the night (when she wasn't taking pictures) sitting on his lap. The girls attacked him with stickers and kisses. It was so cute. He was very patient--he will make a great daddy (in a few more years!) =) We spent the night cuddling on an air mattress and we woke up to 1.2 big rottweilers licking the glass door right above our heads and 2. little girls running in and out of the room whispering about us being asleep. The next morning we saw the girls off to school (with lots of hugs and kisses) and then Autumn drove us to long beach for our cruise. We were a few hours early so we got to spend some time chatting and eating yummy mexican food with Autumn. We had such a great time--we wish we could see the Gunter family more often!
This is the camera culprit (this is one of the few pictures I was able to get of her).
Since I'm a hippie at heart I made sure to teach them the peace sign at a young age... =)
You are so photogenic! Seriously, you look so cute in all your pics!! Ok, we are mailing the invites out next week, is the address you gave me still the right one or have you moved already? Let me know. We need to get together!
I will have to day ditto on your photogenicity as well. But so are your neices - they weren't camera shy. I loved that even in the pics of just you and Austin, they are cheesing it in the back. Too funny. And to answer your question, I lived in Logan from Aug. 03' to May of last year. Ross and I both went to and graduated from USU. I worked at Watts in Logan for almost 2 years. Why?! I am still not sure. But if you had friends that worked there at the time I might remember them (too many people came and went, but some are unforgetable-just the weirdos usually and Watts definately has their fair share). Sorry for the long post.
