Repeal the Partial Birth Abortion Ban Act of 2003 enabling babies to be partially-delivered and then euthanized by injection or incision at the neck, into the third trimester.
Repeal the Hyde Amendment (which restricts taxpayer funding of abortions). Thus making taxpayers fund a procedure they may find immoral.
Repeal restrictions on insurance coverage for abortion for federal employees
Repeal waiting periods
Repeal parental consent and notification laws for children under the age of 18 desiring to have an abortion
Repeal health and safety regulations for abortion clinics
Repeal requirements that licensed physicians perform abortions
Deny tax dollars or insurance to fund abortions that accidentally deliver a live child -- meaning that the live child will be discarded and unattended until expiration occurs.
Lift bans on partial-birth abortion.
Repeal informed consent laws-- requiring doctors to fully disclose all physical and emotional risks inherent in abortion including--medical risks of abortion, alternatives to abortion, and nonjudgmental, scientifically accurate medical facts about the development of her unborn child.

There is an organization that is fighting the Freedom of Choice Act. They are educating people who will listen about this Act and collecting signatures to petition key members of congress.
Fight FOCA Petition
I oppose the Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA), because:
- FOCA is a radical attempt to enshrine abortion-on-demand into American law;
- FOCA seeks to sweep aside existing, protective laws that I and the majority of Americans support;
- FOCA will prevent states from enacting protective measures in the future.
If you wish to be represented accurately by your local representatives on issues you feel are important you must use your VOICE. Educate yourself. Learn about current political issues. Participate in the process. Make yourself HEARD.

Something to think about...
On July 17, 2007, at the Planned Parenthood Action Fund, responding to a question regarding how he would preserve reproductive rights, Barrack Obama, declared "The first thing I'd do, as president, is sign the Freedom of Choice Act. That's the first thing that I'd do."
Obama has made it clear his intention to sign the Freedom of Choice Act if passed by Congress. Do you know what the Freedom of Choice Act is? If signed the Freedom of choice Act will elevate abortion to a Fundamental right and will do all of the following:

yikes! I knew I didn't like him! On a happier note I LIKE YOU! lol! lets get together this week and do something realllly fun! (just not wednesday cause thats jasons birthday)
I heard his statement about this before. One of the reasons I did not vote for him. I am hoping that, like his stand on other issues have changed recently, that he will not go ahead with this as well. But one can't just hope, so thanks for the info on what I can do as well!
Oh man that seriously makes me sick. I am not sure what kind of person you would have to be to be ok with doing things like that. Let's hope his views have changed since then!! We need to hang out we miss you guys it's been awhile!!
