A biomechanics analysis from the Salt Lake Running Company. A staff member records your feet as you run on a treadmill for several seconds. Then, they watch the video frame-by-frame and clearly explain what's happening to your feet as you run. They determine whether you're a pronator, a forefoot striker or a supinator when you run. Then you get a custom insole or shoe to help you run better.
I go this week for my biomechanics analysis. I guess after that, and with all my new goodies, I really will be a runner.

WOW, way to go girl!!! I m hopefully gonna get a jogging stroller here soon cause I want to train for the half marathon. Maybe we should run together... :-)!!!
Ha Ha! John and Cody got Morgan and I the same thing! Except instead of that fancy analysis we got gym passes! Go Runners!
I had the same thing done a few years back after I developed runners knee after a half marathon. It was so nice! I haven't had knee problems since. That is cool about the Nike plus - I want a Garmin for running. One day I guess...Good luck with the running. Careful, it becomes addictive! ;)
Yay! I am so excited for you. You will be great. When you start having certain pains in your feet, ankles, knees or hips call me. I can hopefully give you good advice! My motto is: Don't be embarrassed to run slow...
I got the exact same Christmas present except for I have a lot less motivation than you! I don't know what it is, but I can't seem to ever have the motivation to get my body in shape! Ahhhh! Someday....someday.
YA!!!! Now we can work out! ;) First of all I haven't checked blogs for SO LONG & dang girl! You have so much fun stuff posted. I am also REALLY glad you posted that thing about Obama bc I have been so upset about it. It makes me so angry. Seriously. I can't get into it or I'll cry but I'm glad you posted that. We just need to do LOTS of praying for him & his administration. They need God in their lives in order to take our country to a BETTER place economically & morally.
Well anyway sorry I've been so bad @ getting back to you. Let's play though! I'll call you!
Love ya!
How exciting! You will be my inspiration to run after the baby weight comes! Oh and I don't really have a baby bump quite yet. I just look fat around the middle! But don't you worry I am going to start posting belly pictures as soon as I get courage!
Keep me posted on how running goes!
Oh best of luck to you!! hahahah!! I am definately NOT a runner!
