It was a Very Good Year!

Happy one year anniversary to us!!! Austin got back from Canada on saturday night and I was over-joyed to see him. Since our anniversary was on a sunday we decided to celebrate our anniversary that night. Austin planned a surprise dinner at the Paris Bistro, a fancy french restaurant in downtown salt lake city. We went there for my 23rd birthday and I was excited to go again because not only is the food delicious but the atmosphere is very romantic. I ordered in my opinion the best entree- the butternut squash ravioli and Austin had some scallops. It was all so yummy. While we were sitting at the table Frank Sinatra's "It was a very good year" played over the speaker. It was perfect! Austin and I kindof made a deal that we wouldn't get each other gifts because we are going on an anniversary cruise but I couldn't help it--I got Austin a pair of diesel shoes and a pair of True Religion jeans (he's been wanting a pair forever and they match a pair I have) for our anniversary. After dinner we went home and had some of our wedding cake...it was surprisingly tastey for being in our freezer for a year! I was impressed!!!







On sunday we brought our cake over to his parents for the family to enjoy. We wore our matching jeans and took a picture! We are such nerds! =) ) We enjoyed a yummy halibut dinner with Austin's parents to top off the night. It was a wonderful anniversary and a wonderful year together. Life just gets better everyday!
