It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas!

Christmas cheer is in the air! We finally have a CHRISTMAS TREE! And it is a beautiful real tree! We decided that our first tree for our first Christmas together (as a married couple) definitely had to be a real tree. I am so happy about our decision because it smells wonderful! We had fun decorating it (our friend Adam did the lights because he is a christmas tree "light expert) while we drank hot chocolate and listened to some holiday tunes. Every time I walk down the stairs in the morning and see our beautiful tree it makes me so happy! We still need a star or an angel on top but I am holding out until I find something really cool! The only presents currently under the christmas tree are to Austin from me & Santa (he came early to our house) because even though Austin finished shopping for me first he still hasn't wrapped my gifts and tells me he probably won't get around to it until Christmas eve. I told him I would wrap them for him but he didn't fall for that! ;) Although Austin picked out (and even bought) most of his gifts I am still so excited to see his face on christmas morning! I love shopping and buying gifts for the people--I have spent a lot of time coming up with the perfect gifts for everyone so I am way excited for Christmas! I can't believe it's only a week away--and I still have lots to do!!! I'll be a busy little christmas elf this week! =)

Hey I love your tree! It's so full and pretty! I am definately a real Christmas tree kind of person, but have to settle for a borrowed fake Charlie Brown Christmas tree this year. Good thing too, King has already knocked it over about a dozen times! The night I set it up Kendall came out from putting King to bed and I was like, "here's our tree" and I totally almost started crying because it looked so pathetic! But I made some improvements to make it look more full. Anyway, Merry Christmas! I love reading your blog! It brings me back to the time when we were without our son! Man, it's amazing how much freedom we used to have! Don't worry, love having a son too!
