Happy 25th Birthday my Love!

This blog is a tribute to my one true love, Austin. Happy Birthday baby!
Austin officially turned 25 on December 13th! WOO HOO! He is now a quarter of a century!!! Our big joke last night was that he is half way to 50--scary thought huh?? Austin and I have been joking about him turning 25 because I have been telling everyone he is 25 for a while, (when I turned 24 it just made sense that he was a year older than me already)...so Austin asked me to please keep him 25 for a while. He said he likes 25 because it sounds cooler than 26 and 27 is too old. So 25 it is! =) He had a work meeting in Orem at 9 in the morning on his birthday, which worked out perfectly for me because I had plans to decorate the house and I thought I would have to wait until he went skiing later that afternoon. I first did a trail of chocolate "kisses" from where he enters at the garage door all the way through the family room, through the kitchen, up the stairs, and into our bedroom. I then decorated the room with balloons and a birthday banner.  I wrote the top 25 reasons I love him on 25 balloons. The best part is that when he followed the trail of kisses to the bedroom I was laying in the bed with a bunch of balloons, kisses, skiis and a few other gifts for him. All of the work decorating had made me sleepy and I had fallen asleep with all of the birthday stuff! I wish he would have taken a picture because I bet it was a hilarious sight. After he came in I woke up and the fun began---I had numbered all of the balloons so he had to find the right balloon and read the reasons why I love him in order. I didn't list them in any particular order but it was fun to see him scrambling around the room to find the right balloon. He was a great sport. Later that day we went to get sushi with his family which was delicious and then we enjoyed cake and icecream with some of his friends (his brother Jordan and I designed and decorated the cake--I must say it was pretty delicious!). I think the best part of Austin's birthday for him is that now he gets to use his new skis! YAY! My parents got him new bindings for his new skis so he is one happy boy...and that makes me happy too! =)
