We didn't think we'd be fans of chicago style pizza (thick crust) because we love new york style pizza (thin crust) but we thought we'd try Gino's East pizzeria as it came highly recommended to us. And it did not disappoint. The crust tasted like it was made from cornmeal-it was nice & flakey-the cheese baked inside & the sauce right on top. Yum.
There is a bowling alley practically in the same parking lot as Austin's apartment--& he has become quite the "closet" bowler! He bowled 8 strikes in our first game. I sadly, didn't even hit 100--which is a common occurance actually.
After 4 hours of bowling I finally broke 100--144 baby!
The next week my physical therapist was aghast at the condition of my body--"what did you do to cause your hip to come out?" oh that would be the 4 hours of bowling. He wasn't too pleased.
Don't you think every public toilet should be like this? Rotating seat covers--how cool is chicago?
I quite like it.
Also, wondering what else I did while in Chicago? Let's just say I left with a tiny suitcase & returned with a gigantic one! :)

How fun! I was asking Austin how Chicago style pizza compared with NY. You made it sound pretty yummy too.. maybe I'll get to try it someday! You look adorable as always. Glad you guys are having fun!

Love this!! I took the same toilet photo in chicago. Totally weird to need a start button to go to the bathroom.
