No, I'm not referring to basketball--I am talking about the "madness" which Austin and I fondly call LIFE.
Last Monday for FHE we finally used the lovely, nifty picnic basket we got for our wedding and had a candlelight picnic in our family room. It was probably one of the coolest things we've ever done! =)
Complete with veggies & dip, fresh fruit, tuna sandwiches and fruit soup.
A couple of weeks ago Austin took me to Vegas for his Valentine's gift to me. It was a short 3 day getaway but we had a splendid time. We loved having Mel and Tysen there with us-those two are the life of any party!
We ate at a lot of yummy places.
Vegas shake face.
Austin was a little excited about getting a chocolate sundae from Ghirardelli.
Feeling a little trippy after the Beatles LOVE Cirque De Soilel show. Amazing, again.
He fits right in with those "carnis" or whatever you would call those crazy cirque de soilel performers.
While we were down in Vegas we got to visit the beloved Pirates Cove.
This hoola hoop is for working out--it is really big and heavy and Austin dominated with it. The rest of us were to wimpy to do it.
I spy Austin doing a flip off of the mast.
Austin's sweet dad took us and Alyse (his sister) to a Jazz game. Row 15. So fun. How can you not have fun when cotton candy and red mango are involved!? Oh, and they won!

We finally made it thru a tour of the new Draper Temple. It is gorgeous and I am excited to do a session there once it opens (hopefully before we leave for the summer!).
I can't even open the garage without being sexually harassed. Ha ha, just kidding. It's not harassment if you like it. ;)
Austin was able to go race at the Larry H. Miller racetrack with some of the management from Platinum. He LOVED it. I have never seen him so excited about something! And he did great--he is a natural speed racer.
He and a couple of his friends went to the race track again to race their own cars. I was not too happy Austin was using our car especially when I found out that he spun off the track a couple of times but he had a grand time.
Austin has a mild obsession with a zombie game on his xbox. Apparently killing those zombies is really hard because one night he and Sterling ran downstairs demanding a picture as proof that they made it to level 22. They are BIG nerds--but we love them. I guess they are getting ready for the zombie uprising--that's what they tell me anway. Can't argue with that, right?
Keith Dyer got married a few weeks back to a beautiful, fun gal. This is us devouring our eclairs (they were in high demand). Austin ended up stealing Emmie's right out of her hand but not before she licked it clean. ha ha--serves him right! =)
Next week we are headed to Moab for Platinum's management retreat. We are so excited. However, I will probably not be going jeeping after what happened while jeeping with Austin last year--or maybe I will just go with a different driver? ;) We'll see. Pictures to come!

Wow what an eventful post! Looks like you guys are enjoying life!
Ross almost went to the race track on the day that you can race your car too, but it didn't happen (PHEW!). He already has plans to attend when they do it again....boys. I am jealous of the Ghirardelli sundae - those are fabulous. And it's probably a good thing you didn't try that hula hoop. I have used a 5lb weighted one before, and while it works the abs great, it left my hip bones nice and bruised. Ouch!
You two are to dang cute~!!! I LOVE IT!!! I am so glad you had fun in Vegas girly!! I love playin in Vegas... I am sad I won't get to play with you gals in Moab... Don't have to much fun without me. I love ya.
